Our Story

WT Howard Funerals was founded in 1922, we have been an integral part of the Manning Valley, Great Lakes and Gloucester areas for generations. We are closing in on 100 years serving our region. Our business has grown since its humble beginnings; William Thomas was a builder come coffin maker before turning to Funerals. We still operate from our original office located in Flett St, Taree, and offices now in Manning St, Tuncurry and King St, Gloucester.

Presently our key staff consist of the manager and Funeral Director Lloyd Ninham, First impressions officer Kirsty Ninham and Funeral Director Mandy Preston (Gloucester), Funeral Director, Bryce Steep (Great Lakes, Forster/ Tuncurry). We also have a competent support team.

WT Howard Funerals is a member of the Australian Funeral Directors Association, an association which has represented professional funeral directors throughout Australia since 1935. The Australian Funeral Directors Association requires its members to abide by a code of ethics, designed to ensure quality premises, facilities and professional staff, thus ensuring the public a high standard of service.
